Police seek public’s assistance in locating missing youth

The Timmins Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating missing youth Vanessa Strong, 17, of Timmins.

Strong was reported missing after failing to return home from school on May 6, 2015.

She is described as Aboriginal, approximately 5’11”, 145 lbs, with straight, black hair, and dark-rimmed prescription glasses. She was last seen wearing black leggings, a black winter coat, and ballet-style flat shoes.

Anyone believing they may have seen Vanessa Strong, or having any information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Timmins Police Service at 705-264-1201.
