Power outage leaves thousands in the dark

Residents in the Timmins area had to deal with a brief, yet significant power outage Tuesday afternoon.

While the outage itself lasted 15-20 minutes, Hydro One says close to 15,000 homes were hit.  From the west end, to downtown and all the way into the Connaught area all had to deal with the outage.

Power was restored remotely, and Hydro One is investigating the cause.
