city hallBike lanes and new lights will be put between Timmins and South Porcupine, but it’s going to cost a bit more.

Council is approving this year’s Connecting Link re-construction for just under $4.9-milion, with the cost up $400,000 due to the lights being added.

The extra money will come from accounts that had money left over in past years.

$3-million is coming from a provincial grant.

In terms of the construction, the plan is to still complete it by the end of the year and officials are hoping for the snow to hold off a bit.
