Five people will be laid to rest this week after a fatal collision west of the city.

Paulette Turcotte-MacLeod, Aynsley MacLeod, Jamaal Nakogee and Cruz Nakogee were all killed when their SUV collided with a transport about 70km west of Timmins on Thursday morning.  It was later learned that Aynsley was six months pregnant.

The collision remains under investigation.

According to information supplied to our station, a visitation will take place Thursday, March 2nd from 4-6pm (family) and 6-9pm (friends) while a funeral goes Friday, March 3rd at 11am.  Everything is happening at the Chapleau Moore Arena.

Anyone looking to send flowers can do so through the Timmins Flower Shop, who promised to waive delivery charges for this occasion.

Meantime, a GoFundMe account set up to help cover funeral expenses has topped $30,000.
