A residential fire in Iroquois Falls in early April is leading to charges.

OPP say they were called to the Church Street blaze at 7:20am on April 2nd, and an investigation was conducted.

As a result, six charges were laid against the property owner Michael Scofield:

  • Arson – Fraudulent Purpose
  • Two counts of Arson – Damage to Own Property
  • Common Naissance – Endanger Life
  • Mischief
  • Public Mischief

Scofield was released on a Promise to Appear, and will be in a Timmins courtroom on October 10th.
