After a couple months of delay, the trial date has been set for accused killer Nathan Koostachin.

Koostachin—who was not in attendance Wednesday—faces a jury trial for his first-degree murder charge starting May 7th, 2018, a trial that’s anticipated to last around three weeks.

The Timmins man is accused of killing 19-year old Austin Theriault in Bozzer Park in July 2016.

Details of the case, including evidence, are subject to a publication ban.
