A trio of items pertaining to the Hollinger Park area is up on Timmins city council’s agenda Tuesday night.

First, Goldcorp-Porcupine Gold Mine officials will be looking for an extension to their Final Landscape Plan to the end of 2018.

Skate Hollinger is looking for a $115-thousand dollar funding boost for their 2018 season.

And there’s a couple Stars and Thunder items on the agenda too, ahead of the Thursday ticket sale launch.

In non-Hollinger Park news, accessible taxi licenses are up for approval after being tossed around at the Timmins Police Services Board level for much of 2017.

Councillor Joe Campbell will also be bringing back a revised version of his request to freeze city spending in 2018 to 2017 levels. He wants the freeze “until a complete detailed public report is submitted to council for the years 2018-2021, by treasury, recognizing the economic challenges facing the city going forward over that period – and indicating in detail where these future financial shortfalls will be made up as to protect city taxpayers from major taxation increases.”

Council starts at 6:00pm.
