Timmins Police is on the lookout for a pick-up truck that failed to remain at the scene of a collision Monday night.

Police say the collision happened around 7:25pm at the Cameron South-Belanger Avenue intersection.

“Reports indicate that a vehicle travelling Eastbound on Belanger Ave. failed to stop at the stop sign, striking another vehicle travelling through the intersection on Cameron St. S,” police state.

As a result, three people sustained injuries.

The vehicle that failed to remain at the scene is described as a light coloured pick-up truck, which would have sustained front-end damage.

Police are asking for information from possible witnesses, as well as nearby businesses or residents that would have surveillance video of the incident or vehicle.

In addition, they have extended their plea to local repair shops that may have worked on the vehicle.

If you have information or evidence, call Timmins Police at 705-264-1201.
