**CITY OF TIMMINS NEWS RELEASE**

The Stars and Thunder Festival Committee is sorry to announce a change in the lineup for Sunday, June 24, as Éric Lapointe will be taking a break from signing due to Laryngitis. Unfortunately he will need more time to heal this infection, which has afflicted him for the last few weeks. In doing so, he regrets to announce he will not be able to perform in Timmins this year.

Éric, however, has worked hard with the committee to ensure fans still enjoy a fantastic lineup. His good friend and fellow judge from La Voix, Marc Dupré has decided to take his place.

The Stars and Thunder Festival Committee is excited to add Marc to the lineup as one of the top touring francophone artists in Canada, and wishes Éric the very best in his recovery!
