cyber riskThe Timmins Police Service, the Ontario Provincial Police, and the Conseil Scolaire Catholique de District des Grandes Rivières, as well as the parent council of l’École catholique Anicet-Morin are partnering for a presentation that will explore the risks associated with the cyber world.

Today, the internet and technology are extremely prominent in the lives of our students. However, the internet can also be a dangerous place with respect to cyber-bullying and exploitation.

To help educate parents about these risks, members of the Ontario Provincial Police’s Child Exploitation Unit will deliver an evening information session on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the École secondaire catholique Theriault Auditorium.

The information session is open to parents of students from any school within the Conseil Scolaire Catholique de District des Grandes Rivières.

Presentations are geared toward students in Grades 6, 7, or 8.

Parents may attend the information session alone or with their student.
