The Algonquin Animal Hospital is on the move.

Officials at the hospital say a new building is to be built on the corner of Mountjoy and Third Avenue.

They say it’s been a few years in the making and all parties involved are excited.

The hospital is currently on Algonquin Boulevard West.

At the moment, sewer lines are being put in, and the hospital expects to be open by this December.

Nothing has been on the land since Bupont Motors left for its current location on Riverside Drive.
