Kidd Operations $320,000 grant providing affordable housing for seniors

Thanks to Kidd Operations 320 thousand dollar grant – Mine Manager Tom Semadeni says the wing was done on time and on budgetnew wing at Spruce Hill Lodge is welcoming 6 new patients

Spruce Hill Lodge is the only non profit seniors home in Timmins. The new wing is helping the assisted living facility to create a sustainable operating model, generating revenue, creating two new jobs while securing and giving sustainability to current positions by increasing staff hours.

Administrator Carol MacKinnon says all work was done by local architects, engineers and contractors

She says the six rooms are not only increasing occupancy, but positively impacting the community.
