green partyThe integrity of the Green Party led to Max Kennedy putting his name in the hat for the Timmins-James Bay riding.

He says the party’s three main pillars for the area is economics, the environment and social aspects, such as an aging population.

Another issue the Green Party is worried about is Line 9, a pipeline in Ontario and Quebec Kennedy calls “a disaster waiting to happen.”

He plans on going to the Timmins Ecological Beekeeping Association to talk to constituents at 2:00pm, and also will be at the Mountjoy Farmer’s Market on Saturday morning.

Kennedy goes up against incumbent MP Charlie Angus (NDP), Todd Lever (Liberal) and John Curley (Conservative) in the October 19th vote.
