While local businesses are trying to just stay a float, accountants are still wrestling with the new federal and provincial budgets.

Accountants from Collins Barrow in Sudbury were in the city filing local business owners in on what the new federal and provincial budgets mean to them.

Senior Manager with the firm, Chantal Guilmette says many of the smaller businesses owners are worried about how they’ll be taxed with the new Liberal Regime at the helm.  She says there is a lot of technical jargon to wade through but overall we should still come out on top.

Guilmette adds the biggest fears were also had to do with our neighbor to the east, Quebec. She says there will be no number of employees required for professionals to access the small buisniess deduction, and no additional increases to income tax rates.
