One of the larger attractions is a replica of the 1966 Batmobile. There will be numerous guests this year including a comic book writer and two celebrities.  Walter Jones, who played the original Black Power Ranger along with Marina Sirtis, who was Councillor Deanna Troi on Star Trek the Next Generation. Costume contests will being going on over the weekend with separate categories for children adult and master level cosplayers. Local businesses like Jump City and Wicked stuff, and other Canadian organizations like Up North Comics, and Mojoverse. The Expo has out grown their old location at the McIntyre Ballroom, this year moving to the Archie Dillon Sportsplex to accommodate bigger attractions. What started as a side attraction for the Schumacher Lions’ Club annual sportsman show has grown beyond that into it’s own event. http://www.q92timmins.com/files/jason-denis-origin.mp3
