In what is only being described right now as “additional engineering efforts,” the cost of the Whitney-Tisdale sanitary sewer project is going up by about $155,000.

The report itself has very little details on the scope of the work involved.  But JL Richards—the company assigned to do the work—says it is necessary in order to complete Phase 1.

Councillor Joe Campbell asked for specifics, but he was told it’ll have to come back in a report at a later date.

Campbell says he’s surprised this is coming up now, considering the construction has sat idle for the last two years.
