**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


Timmins Police Service officers were called to the LCBO outlet on Waterloo Road yesterday evening in answer to a call for service regarding a theft that had just taken place.

The responding officers took note of how the theft had taken place and obtained a detailed description of the suspect.

A short while later, the suspect was located and arrested by the Timmins Police Service.
In the course of the arrest procedure, an inventory of personal effects was completed whereupon a quantity of suspected methamphetamine tablets was discovered.

The items were secured as evidence against the accused.

Judy JACSUM, 21, of Attawapiskat, Ontario has been charged with
– Theft Under $5000 contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Possession of property Obtained by Crime contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances Act

She has been released from police custody on the strength of an Undertaking requiring that she attend Provincial Court in Timmins on August 28th to answer to the charges laid against her.
