We have long been told of the unhealthy side-effects of eating foods cooked with trans fats. They (according to science) have a ‘clogging’ effect on the arteries of our hearts. So it’s a ‘better late than never’ situation, because Health Canada has officially BANNED them in all foods and oils in Canada! The Heart & Stroke Foundation says this move could help avoid THOUSANDS of heart attacks across the country, in the next 20 years!
