**TIMMINS POLICE SERVICE NEWS RELEASE**


In two separate incidents, the Timmins Police Service located and arrested two men who were wanted on the strength of separate arrests warrants.

At approximately 4:30 p.m. yesterday afternoon (20 Sept) A Timmins Police Service officer recognized a man he believed to be the subject of an existing arrest warrant.

The warrant was confirmed and upon arrest, a quantity of suspected methamphetamine was located on the suspect’s person.

Jeremy EMBLETON, 39, of Timmins, has been arrested on the strength of an existing warrant and is also charged with one count of Possession of a Controlled Substance contrary to the Controlled Drug and Substances

The accused remains in police custody while awaiting a Bail Hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.

In a separate incident, a male suspect allegedly involved in an incident of Criminal Harassment was observed by a Timmins Police Service officer yesterday evening (20 Sept) while completing patrols in South Porcupine.

The male suspect, Jacob GERVAIS, 20, of Timmins, was taken into custody and is charged with:
– two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada
– one count of Fail to Comply with Undertaking contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada

The accused remains in police custody while awaiting a Bail Hearing slated for this morning at Provincial Court in Timmins to answer to the charges laid against him.
