Every day this week we are featuring platform highlights from the Ward Councillor candidates in the upcoming election. Our stations have reached out to each Councillor candidate to outline their platform for listeners. This is Ward 4 Councillor candidate John P. Curley’s submitted platform.

John Curley is an active member of the community. He’s a Board Member of Spruce Hill Lodge, the Timmins Police Board, and Chair of the City of Timmins Non-Profit Housing. He’s a Life Member and Past President of the Ontario Good Roads Association and has received the Queen Diamond Jubilee Award.

Curley feels, as a fellow tax payer, that our municipality needs a council willing to work on our basic operations and growth. Infrastructure has and will remain a top priority for Curley and he promises to continue his work on infrastructure and to work on the concerns of the residents of Ward 4 and all of Timmins.

Curley also plans to work to improve safer roads and highways in the North, and work to find ways for affordable housing.

Curley says he will continue to be a strong voice for the City of Timmins.
