TEMISKAMING DETACHMENT STATISTICS FOR DECEMBER 2018

 

(TEMISKAMING, ON) – During the month of December 2018, the Temiskaming Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to over 820 calls for service which included the following: 

  • 19 Violent related incidents
  • 25 Property related occurrences
  • Four Drug related cases
  • Five Impaired driving offences
  • 48 Motor vehicle collisions

 

Officers in the Englehart, Temagami and Temiskaming offices have also patrolled and conducted traffic enforcement on the highways to ensure road safety, throughout the Temiskaming Detachments’ area.

The OPP would like to remind the public, that with winter upon us, drivers will have to adjust their driving. Please leave yourself plenty of time, drive carefully, and arrive at your destination safely.  

 


 

JAMES BAY DETACHMENTS STATISTICS FOR DECEMBER 2018

 

(KAPUSKASING, ON) – During the month of December, 2018, the James Bay Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to several calls for service which included the following:

 

  • 29 Violent Crimes
  • 51 Property Crimes
  • 11 Drug Occurrences
  • 90 Motor Vehicle Collisions
  • 4 Impaired Driving Occurrences
  • 1 Warn Range Suspensions

 

  • Officers in the Cochrane, Smooth Rock Falls, Kapuskasing, Hearst, and Moosonee offices have completed many hours of Road Safety and Traffic Enforcement throughout the James Bay Detachments’ area.

 


 

KIRKLAND LAKE DETACHMENT STATISTICS FOR DECEMBER 2018

  

(KIRKLAND LAKE, ON) During the month of December 2018, the Kirkland Lake Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to approximately 609 calls for service. Some of those calls included the following: 

  • 23 violence related incidents
  • 29 property related occurrences
  • One drug related case
  • 29 motor vehicle collisions
  • Three impaired by alcohol incident
  • Seven warn range suspension
  • 102 “Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere” (RIDE) checkpoints  

Officers have also patrolled our communities and highways to ensure road safety and conducted traffic enforcement throughout the Kirkland Lake Detachment area.

The OPP would like to remind the public that when travelling on Ontario roads to please leave yourself plenty of time, drive carefully and arrive at your destination safely.

 


 

SOUTH PORCUPINE DETACHMENTS STATISTICS FOR DECEMBER 2018

 

(SOUTH PORCUPINE, ON) – During the month of December 2018, the South Porcupine Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to 507 calls for service which included the following:

 

  • 15 Criminal Code charges
  • Two Impaired Charges
  • Three Warn Range Suspensions
  • 227 Provincial Offences charges
  • Seven violent crimes reported
  • 15 property crimes reported
  • One drug occurrence
  • Three personal injury motor vehicle collisions
  • 21 property damage motor vehicle collisions

 

Members from the South Porcupine, Foleyet, Gogama, Matheson and Iroquois Falls detachments patrol our communities and highways to ensure road safety and conducted traffic enforcement throughout the Detachments’ area.
