This is like a ‘huh…who knew” moment.   Apparently, if you have a couple of beers (alcoholic drinks) while in a kayak, a canoe, a blow up floatie, or even a pool noodle, on the open waters of Ontario, you could be fined and in some cases lose your drivers license.

You cannot operate a water vessel while intoxicated.  That makes sense, but the word ‘vessel’ does not just mean boat, it is a grey area that can apply to anything that floats on water.
