**CRIME STOPPERS NEWS RELEASE**


This is Brenda Beaven, coordinator for the Cochrane District Crime Stoppers board.  The Timmins Police Service need the public’s help in solving a break, enter and theft which occurred at a multi unit residence in the City of Timmins.

 

Sometime during the early morning hours of January 4th, 2020 an individual  gained entry to an apartment building on Rae St in  Timmins. The individual  then proceeded to the laundry room where he was able to cover the camera and continue his vandalism and theft.

He broke into and stole the coin from 6 washers and dryers. In the process wrecked the coin devices which will result in the need to replace all 6 machines.

The total cost of damage and loss of property is in excess of

$50 000.

The individual is seen on camera wearing a very distinct orange and black jacket and unique running shoes. Photos and video will be available on the Cochrane District crimestoppers web site.
