**CITY OF TIMMINS NEWS RELEASE**


Due to the ever-changing situation with COVID-19, the Timmins Victor M. Power Airport terminal is open to passengers and authorized personnel only.
In order to actively reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community, all ‘meeters and greeters’ are asked to wait outside the terminal, and to continue practicing social distancing.
Scheduled services have declined, as follows:
 Porter ceased operations last Friday (March 20)
 Bearskin cased operations yesterday (March 24)
 Air Creebec and Thunder Airlines continue with some scheduled flight to the North
 Air Canada is reduced to three turns a day to Toronto
 Cargo flights remain operational
