**PORCUPINE HEALTH UNIT NEWS RELEASE**


The Porcupine Health Unit (PHU) is reporting six new COVID-19 cases among residents in the health unit area.
Close contacts of cases are currently being called and followed by the PHU.
COVID-19 is circulating in our area. Take preventive measures to reduce the spread: physical distancing — keeping at least 2 metres or 6 feet distance — between yourself and others. Everyone, not just travellers, please stay home if you’re feeling ill. Even if this feels like just a cold. You can help keep someone else from getting more seriously ill.

The first case is a female in her thirties, tested on Friday, March 27. The second is a male under the age of 10 years, tested on Saturday, March 28. The third case is a male under the age of 10 years, tested on Friday, March 27. The fourth case is a male in his forties, tested Friday, March 27. The fifth is a female in her sixties, tested on Saturday, March 28. The last case is a female in her seventies, tested on March 30.
