Systemic racism, discrimination and bigotry have existed in our society for far too long. We see it, hear, and live it every single day. Sometimes it can be from a friend, an employer, or a loved one and most times the person may not even know they’ve said something wrong.

These are not easy conversations to have, which is why The Black Tea Podcast – presented by Fido – is going to have these conversations for you. The Black Tea podcast is a podcast discussing issues relevant to the Black community for people in the community.

The Black Tea Podcast – presented by Fido, will cover a variety of hot button topics that effect the black community, but will also celebrate and promote Black culture and accomplishment. We will cover The Politics of Sport, Satire, Comedy, and Politics, Black music and culture, and allyship.

Toronto is a multicultural hotspot, but the diversity that makes the city special isn’t often reflected in the stories we hear and the discussions we have. Black Tea will change that. Hosts Dalton Higgins and Melayna Williams will bring important Black community conversations out in the open, and have some laughs while doing it.

Systemic racism, discrimination and bigotry have existed in our society far too long, and Fido wants to help change that by bringing issues effecting the Black Community to the forefront.
