**NHL NEWS RELEASE**

Episode one of Quest For The Stanley Cup™, the critically-acclaimed behind-the-scenes documentary series chronicling the remaining teams in the 2020 Stanley Cup® Playoffs, premieres tonight at 6 p.m. ET on ESPN+ in the U.S. and YouTube.com/NHL in Canada.

The first episode opens in the bubbles in Edmonton and Toronto, the sites of this year’s postseason, with a wide array of exclusive content from the hotels, arena, dressing rooms and player activity areas in each market.

Philadelphia Flyers teammates Travis Konecny and Travis Sanheim lead a tour of life inside their bubble home at Hotel X in Toronto, including the multitude of social activities available to the team. The cameras turn to the ice for Game 2 of the Flyers’ series against the New York Islanders, a 4-3 overtime win for Philadelphia.

The cameras stay in Toronto to offer glimpses of the daily routines of Tampa Bay Lightning forward Blake Coleman and Boston Bruins defenseman Torey Krug, including testing protocols, before they face off in Game 3. Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy and Lightning head coach Jon Cooper take viewers into the dressing rooms for their pregame meetings. The Lightning would go on to beat the Bruins, 7-1, in Game 3 to take a 2-1 series lead.

The night’s games soon would be overshadowed by societal matters, when the players and teams unite in solidarity to protest against system racism with the recent shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wis. “Quest For The Stanley Cup” will take viewers inside the player-led press conferences held in Edmonton and Toronto to announce plans to postpone two days of games. Fans will hear from Vegas Golden Knights forward Ryan Reaves, Lightning defenseman Kevin Shattenkirk and others on how the players came to the decision.

Quest For The Stanley Cup premiered in 2016 to critical acclaim, making the National Hockey League the first North American pro sports league to provide unprecedented access to its postseason. For the fifth straight year, the weekly series is produced by Ross Greenburg Productions, under the direction of award-winning producer Ross Greenburg, in association with NHL Original Productions. NHL Chief Content Officer Steve Mayer serves as an executive producer. Emmy and Tony Award-nominated actor Bill Camp returns as narrator.

For the third straight season, ESPN+ subscribers will have access to the entire series throughout the Playoffs, with new episodes available each Wednesday. Fans in Canada will be able to watch Quest For The Stanley Cup every Wednesday evening on YouTube.com/NHL.
